Q + A

Can I bring a guest?

If your guest's name is listed on your invite when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with our close family and friends.

Are children allowed?

As much as we love you AND your children; this is a Big Kids Only party.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Aw shucks. You will be dearly missed. If this is the case, then we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible. We understand that unexpected events happen, but by letting us know in advance we can make necessary adjustments to our plans.

When should we arrive at the wedding venue?

Humble brag, but we are some of the most punctual people around. Thanks anxiety. Please arrive no later than 3:45PM.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors. The reception will be under a big beautiful tent equipped with heaters should it get chilly in the evening. It's fall in the beautiful mountains of Vermont. It will be sick.

What will the weather be like?

Could be really warm. Could be chilly at night. Could even rain! (please no). It's an outdoor wedding. Dress accordingly and you'll be just dandy.

What is the dress code?

Formal attire! For the ladies, think floor-length dresses and as for the gents, bust out your best suit! Because this is an outdoor wedding, wedges or block heels are recommended.

Where can I find a gift registry?

We already had to get rid of one Kitchen-Aid. In lieu of a traditional registry, we've decided to create a "house fund". Your thoughtful contribution towards our future home would be a wonderful and appreciated gift as we build our home and life together.

Can I take photos or bring my cell phone?

For the ceremony, we'd love for you to go temporarily off-grid. We will have a wonderful photographer/videographer working to capture this special moment. After that though, go nuts. Instagram ALL the shit.

Is there parking?

Yes indeed. There is free parking at Von Trapp for the ceremony and reception. We encourage you to carpool with a DD or find a ride-share service.
